Hey guys!  I noticed recently that I was getting subscribers on my youtube channel, so I decided I should finally start posting videos about audio engineering there.  So, I’ve recently launched my youtube channel, which you can find here.

The first few videos are about some nerdy audio engineer topics like: sample rate, bit depth, tube gear, parallel walls and acoustics, and stems.  Since there are so many “how to do ____ in Pro Tools” tutorial videos out there, I figured I would start out with my channel by explaining some of the more nerdy, less explored, topics in audio engineering.  So these videos so far are just short videos where I sat down at my home studio and explained the basics on a topic very quickly.

With that said, I’m completely open to doing Pro Tools tutorials and other formats in the future, and probably will be doing so.  I’m also still trying to figure out how to run a youtube channel, and produce videos all by myself (so far I’ve only produced videos with the help of the Pro Studio Live team – videos that you can find on their website).  So, if you guys have any constructive advice, recommendations, or suggestions/topic requests, I’m completely open to that, and would love to hear it!  You can contact me through my contact form, or through social media like Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

My goal with the Youtube channel (and with my other social media posts about audio, come to think of it) is to create a space where we can all discuss audio engineering topics and learn from each other.  So, don’t make me do all the talking; I would love interaction!  As an audio engineer that isn’t a performer at all, I’m also doing these videos to practice being in front of the camera and working on my confidence, so I hope you guys are patient with me on that one.

But, with all that said, I hope to see you guys out there on my new youtube channel, and I hope you enjoy my videos!  Thanks!
